New Year, New Look
With the start of each new year comes another opportunity to reflect on the memories made over the last one, celebrate the good, and say goodbye to the bad. With each new year comes another opportunity for something new and exciting. A chance to start fresh. A chance to start a new lifestyle habit. A chance to set a new goal. A chance to try a new look.
A Look Back
2020 was a strange year to say the least. With fewer wedding celebrations the rooms of the mansion were all too quiet, and we certainly missed seeing our community come together at the estate for the Summer Concert Series. That quiet time also brought with it the opportunity to make some great improvements around the estate. We were able to install the mansion generator, put in new sidewalks and parking, extend our WiFi network across the estate, refresh the restoration in the ballroom, finish the second floor of the Carriage House, and install heating and air conditioning in the Carriage House as well. All projects that would otherwise have taken a couple of years complete.
New Year, New Look
We are excited unveil our latest project - our new website! Over the last few months our team has been working diligently along with Lava to overhaul our website. The new look brings in a more modern design while still keeping some art deco elements of the 1920s. You will find this new look across our social media pages as well.
More Than Just A Pretty Face

Photo Galleries - Multiple pages of the website have photo galleries filled with amazing photos. If you’re looking to learn more about the history of the estate, the Felt family, and the mansion architecture you can head over to the History and Tours pages. Those galleries are complete with descriptions so you can learn more. If you’re looking for wedding inspiration photos you can head over to the Rental Home, Felt Mansion, Chapel, and Carriage House pages and check out the photographers who shot those weddings on our Partners page.
Blog - We have added the blog to our new website so we can regularly bring you great new content. From more in depth information about the history of the estate and the how-to’s of restoring a historic home, to wedding inspiration from styled shoots and real weddings, we’ll have it all here. You’ll hear from the Director of the Friends of the Felt Estate, our Venue Managers, and guest bloggers.
Client Portal - There is a lot of information to keep track of when planning a wedding. So we have started a special client portal for all of our couples where they can go to find all the information they need about the estate while planning their wedding.
