What To Expect During a Tour

The Felt Mansion can accommodate groups of any size. A private **guided tour** generally lasts an hour and a half. Private tours must be arranged in advance by submitting an online request form **HERE**. See more details about guided tours below.

**A self-guided tour** generally lasts about an hour guided by our booklet including architectural and historical details about the estate. Tour times vary by season, and are listed on the event calendar. More details are available **HERE** on our current events page.
**The Felt Mansion is handicap-accessible on the first floor only.** Visitors must be able to navigate stairs to view the upper levels.

Your group may also want to see our documentary “The Man and His Mansion” at no additional cost.

Just request this when you arrange your guided group tour or upon your arrival for a self-guided tour. If your group has already visited the mansion but would like to see the carriage house, chapel, and more of the grounds, we can also arrange that on a separate tour.

Self-guided tour Prices:

Spring, Summer and Fall self-guided tours are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (60+),

$5 for children 8 and older, and children 7 and under are free.

Tickets may be purchased upon arrival. No advance reservations are required.

Group Tours

Buses are welcome! Drivers and tour coordinators are given complimentary admission to the mansion tour. Want to make a day of it? We can coordinate your visit to include other Saugatuck activities. Boxed lunches are available, but must be coordinated prior to your visit. In lovely weather, lunch is served on the West Terrace overlooking the park. During inclement weather, lunch is served in our handsome parlor. Our boxed lunch consists of a delicious chicken wrap, chips, fruit, cookie, and beverage and is provided by our partner, Spectators Bar & Grill. Certain special dietary needs will be honored given advanced notice.

Group Pricing

For groups with 16 people or more, the tour cost is $20 per person. For groups with 15 or fewer persons, the price is $25 per person. Minimum charge $200.

Cost for lunch is $14 per person. (Always make lunch arrangements prior to visit.)

A $50 deposit will be collected at time of booking, with the remainder of your tour fee due upon arrival.
