Holiday unveiling 2025 wrap-up!

Despite a significant snowstorm rolling in the evening of the Holiday Unveiling, Laketown neighbors and guests gathered for a warm and lively celebration at the Felt Mansion. We are grateful to everyone who braved the weather—and to those who supported the event from afar—for helping make this year’s unveiling a success.

The Friends of the Felt Estate are committed to maintaining and preserving the Felt Mansion, which remains the Township’s largest historical asset. Thanks to event participation, sponsorships, and the dedication of many volunteers, the Holiday Unveiling generated $10,031 in net revenue, all of which is being directed specifically to the restoration of the Mansion’s front portico. This project addresses critical structural needs identified in the recent engineering report and represents an important step in safeguarding the building for future generations.

We appreciate the continued support of Laketown residents and Friends of the Felt Estate as we work together to preserve this significant part of our community’s history and ensure that the property remains a place for education, enjoyment, and civic pride.
