In addition to helping hands, we need helping funds!
The Felt Estate Restoration project, began in 2002, has brought a boarded-up structure back to life and usefulness. This community project, completed using donated funds and donated labor and materials, stands as a testimony of what can be done when government with vision and people with passion work together for good.
The Felt Mansion Restoration project could not be possible without the financial support of individuals and businesses.
All donations to the SAVE THE MANSION fund are tax-deductible. Receipts available upon request.
The Friends of the Felt Estate is a 501c3 non-profit membership organization
bringing people together to protect, enhance and enjoy the places that
matter to them in Laketown Township, most notably The Felt Estate. By
saving the places where great moments from history - and the important
moments of everyday life - took place, the Friends of the Felt Estate helps
revitalize our community, spark economic development, and promote
environmental sustainability. The Friends of the Felt Estate provides
leadership, education, and advocacy for preservation and green initiatives
to a network of people, organizations and local communities committed to
saving places, connecting us to our history and collectively shaping the
future of America's stories.
